Therefore, you are required to carry out a visual inspection of the product before signing the form received from the courier.
Here’s a proper way to perform a visual inspection of the product:
- Check if the package is really yours by including your shop name on the customer’s return airway bill
- Ensure that there is no substantial damage to the outer packaging of the item (minor dents and scratches are not considered substantial)
- Watch for signs of tampering or possible product replacement
If the package does not pass your visual inspection in some way, you may reject the product. Make sure you document why you rejected the parcel
A Word of Caution About Product Returns
Many Lazada sellers have experienced product return hacks. Always be wary of parcels that never reach the seller or phone number list returns of damaged or replaced products.
