This will bring up a popup on the screen. You need to click on the website. After that you have to enter a name for the Facebook app. This can be anything that helps you identify the app. Click the “Create a New Facebook App” button to continue. A new popup will appear, enter your email address and select Apps for Pages as the app category. Click the create Application ID button to continue.

scroll down to the ‘Tell us about your website’ section. Enter your WordPress website address here and click on the next button to continue.
You can now click the “Skip Quick Start” button in the top right corner of the page. Then you are redirected to the newly created app dashboard. To view App ID and secret key you have to click on ‘Show’ button.
Before you copy this key you first need to turn on the app and the settings are publicly available. Click the “App Review” link from the menu on your left. On the next screen, you will see that the app is in development mode. Click the toggle button to change it to “Yes” and activate your app.Now click on the dashboard link from the left hand column to return to your app dashboard. Copy your App ID and Secret key. Go back to Instant Articles for the WP plugin settings page on your WordPress site and paste your App ID and Secret key there.

Click the Login button and you will be asked to grant the app permission to access your profile information. After granting permission, you will be redirected back to the WordPress site. Click on the “Select Page” drop down menu to select your Facebook page. Your WordPress site is now ready for Instant Articles.
Setup Style and Branding for Your Articles Instantly
Visit your Facebook page and from CIO & CTO Email List the admin bar click on Publishing Tools. From your left menu, click “Configure” under Instant Articles. Scroll down to the Tools section, then click on the Style tab. Facebook has it set to default , click on it if you want to customize. This will open a pop up to upload your website logo. Facebook requires images with a minimum of 690 x 132 pixels.
Submit Your Instant Articles for Review
Before you can submit your Instant Articles feed for review, you need to make sure that you have at least 10 articles in your Instant Articles feed. If you have published more than 10 articles on the website, but the feed does not show all of them, then you need to edit the last 10 articles by clicking on the update button. Once you are sure that you have 10 articles in your Instant Articles feed, you are now ready to submit them to Facebook for review. Go to your Facebook page and click on Publishing Tools from the admin bar. After that click the “Configure” link under Instant Articles in the left menu. If there are no errors with the Instant Articles feed, you will see a “Submit for Review” button.Go ahead and click this button for submission and review.
Being on Facebook’s Instant Articles platform can give you an extra advantage now that Facebook has introduced a new feature called Explore Feed (which lets you find content relevant to your interests). Furthermore, Instant Articles are easier to share than regular WordPress content, load faster, and integrate with Facebook for higher priority in the news feed.
